Parenting Teens

Parenting an adolescent is not an easy job -- it can be frustrating, agonizing and the biggest challenge of our lives. Most of us are good parents who carry a desire to see our teens succeed, a belief in strong communication and the motivation to be better parents. So, why do we feel that it's not good enough? Join us for commiseration and inspiration in the challenges involved in parenting teens. This four week parenting course focuses on the building blocks of a strong teen-parent relationship- understanding, communication, and respect. Discussions will be guided to aid in learning the skills necessary to enforce limits with your teen while allowing them to reach their potential developmentally.
